CO位10bb跟注全下(CO 10bb Call Off)

CO 10bb Call Off

When the stack depth is about 10 big blinds, the player in the CO position chooses to call off facing an opponent's all-in.

Background

In No-Limit Texas Hold'em, "CO" refers to the [Cutoff] position, which is to the right of the dealer. "10bb" indicates a stack depth of approximately 10 big blinds. "[Call Off]" is an abbreviation of "[Call] [All-in]," meaning to call an all-in bet. This term is commonly used in late tournament or short-stack strategy scenarios, where players have shallow stacks and limited decision ranges.

Strategic Meaning

When a player in the CO position has roughly 10bb, they are typically in a "push or fold" phase—either go all-in or fold. However, if the CO player takes the initiative (e.g., opens with a raise) and then another player goes all-in, they must consider whether to "[Call Off]." Typical decision factors include:

  • [Pot odds]: The ratio of the chips required to call to the size of the pot.
  • Opponent's range: The hand strength that the opponent's all-in might represent.
  • [ICM] factors: In tournaments, survival and ladder value influence the decision.

Examples

  • Blinds 100/200, CO player has 2000 chips (10bb), [raises] to 400, small blind goes all-in for 1800. CO needs to call 1400, the total pot is about 4400, giving odds of roughly 3.1:1. If CO judges the opponent's range to be wide, they might choose to [Call] Off.
  • Conversely, if the opponent's range is extremely strong (e.g., only AA/KK), they should fold.

Notes

This term does not represent a fixed strategy; actual decisions should combine opponent tendencies, [table dynamics], and tournament structure. Typically, with 10bb in the CO, the calling-off range includes small pairs, ace-high hands, or suited connectors.
