CO位25bb反偷盲(CO 25bb Resteal)
CO 25bb Resteal
In No-Limit Texas Hold'em, when a player in the CO position has approximately 25 big blinds, the re-steal strategy involves re-raising against an opponent's blind steal attempt.
Overview
CO (Cut-off) 25bb Resteal is a common preflop restealing strategy, applicable when the stack depth is approximately 25 big blinds (bb). The core of this strategy is to use positional advantage and stack size to reraise a blind stealer from the button (BTN) or an earlier position, forcing the opponent to fold or extracting value.
Applicable Scenarios
- Position: CO position, which is the first seat to the right of the dealer, with a favorable postflop position (though inferior to the button).
- Stack Depth: Approximately 20-30bb, typically 25bb. At this depth, an all-in or 3-bet size (usually 2.5-3 times the raise) can apply effective pressure.
- Opponent Characteristics: The opponent (especially the button) frequently steals blinds, has a wide raising range, and folds to raises at a high rate.
Execution Points
- Raise Size: Typically a 3-bet of 2.5-3bb; if the stack is lower (e.g., 20bb), a direct all-in can maximize fold equity.
- Selection Range: Prefer hands with good postflop playability or blocking value, such as Axs (suited ace), small pairs, suited connectors, etc. Avoid blindly restealing with overly weak hands.
- Adjustment Factors: Consider the opponent's steal frequency, postflop tendencies, and your own table image. If the opponent's steal range is very wide, you can widen your resteal range accordingly.
Risks and Benefits
- Benefits: Successfully forcing an opponent to fold wins the pot immediately (about 3-4bb) without risking a postflop situation.
- Risks: If the opponent holds a strong hand or calls, you may have to play a large pot out of position (sometimes at a positional disadvantage). With 25bb, it's generally preferable to decide the hand preflop to avoid complex postflop play.
Typical Example
Assume the CO holds A♠5♠ with 25bb. The button raises to 2.5bb, the small blind folds, and the big blind calls. At this point, the CO can 3-bet to 7.5bb or go all-in, forcing the button to fold most weak hands.
Notes
- Avoid using this strategy against calling stations, as their low fold frequency can put you in a passive spot.
- When your stack is below 20bb, prefer all-in rather than a small raise size.
- This strategy must be balanced within your overall preflop strategy and should not be overused.
