CO位干燥翻牌4-bet(CO Flop 4-Bet Dry)

指在CO位置,翻牌圈牌面干燥(无顺或花听牌可能)时进行的一次加注,但“4-bet”通常仅用于翻前,此术语可能存在误用。

Definition

CO Flop 4-Bet Dry is a term describing a specific poker scenario where the CO (Cut Off) player makes a fourth bet (4-bet) in the pre-flop sense on the flop (Flop) facing a dry board (Dry, i.e., no obvious draws, such as a rainbow board with no connected cards). However, strictly speaking, "4-bet" refers only to the next raise after someone has raised and re-raised (3-bet) pre-flop, belonging to the pre-flop betting round. A raise on the flop is usually referred to directly as a "raise" or "flop raise," and "4-bet" is rarely used. Thus, this term may be colloquial or non-standard usage, often used to describe the impact of board texture on strategy after pre-flop 3-bet and 4-bet have occurred.

Strategic Background

In actual play, if the CO has already 4-bet pre-flop and the flop is dry, the CO usually has a significant range advantage and can c-bet at a high frequency. However, if the term intends to refer to making a fourth raise directly on the flop (e.g., after someone has bet and raised on the flop), it must be considered in context.

Notes

Since the definition of "4-bet" is strictly limited to pre-flop, it is recommended to use "flop raise" instead in formal discussions to avoid confusion. This entry only records the common understanding of the term and is not considered standard usage.
