CO翻牌5-bet成对(CO Flop 5-Bet Paired)

指CO(关位)玩家在翻牌圈进行第5次下注(5-bet),且翻牌牌面包含一对。

Position and Context

CO (Cutoff) is the position to the right of the button, a late position often used for aggressive actions. A flop 5-bet typically refers to a scenario where there have been multiple raises pre-flop (e.g., standard raise, 3-bet, 4-bet), and then after the flop is dealt, a player makes the 5th bet. Paired means the flop contains a pair (e.g., flop of A♠A♥5♦).

Meaning of the Term

This term describes an extremely rare aggressive play: the CO player may have already raised or 3-bet pre-flop, then after the flop, facing a 4-bet (or continuation raise) from an opponent, chooses to re-raise to a 5-bet while the board contains a pair. This action typically indicates holding a very strong hand (e.g., trips or a full house on the flop) or is used as an extreme bluff.

Strategy Summary

  • If the CO holds a big pre-flop pair (e.g., KK, AA) and improves to trips on a paired flop, a 5-bet can extract value.
  • If the flop pair is small (e.g., flop 88X), the CO might use the pair to block opponents' draws and bluff.
  • This strategy is very high-risk and only suitable for deep stacks or specific opponent reads.

Notes

A "flop 5-bet" itself is extremely rare, as the number of bets post-flop is usually described in terms of raises (e.g., check-raise on the flop). This term is not part of standard poker lexicon and is mostly seen in high-level player discussions or informal contexts.
