关煞位翻牌前加注(CO PFR)
CO PFR
Co-PFR: Refers to a Pre-Flop Raise made from the Cutoff CO position. It is a common positional aggressive action in Texas Hold'em.
Meaning
CO PFR indicates that a player in the cutoff position (the first seat to the right of the dealer) chooses to raise pre-flop. This action typically means the player holds a strong hand or is attempting to steal the blinds using positional advantage.
Position Advantage
Cutoff is the second-best position in Texas Hold'em, only after the button (Button). Since the player acts after the button post-flop but later than middle positions, they can observe more opponents' actions and make more informed decisions. CO PFR allows the player to establish initiative pre-flop and possibly continue betting or checking post-flop.
Strategic Significance
CO PFR is part of an aggressive pre-flop strategy. Common starting hand ranges include:
- Strong hands: high pairs (AA, KK, etc.), high card connectors (AK, AQ, etc.)
- Medium hands: suited connectors (56s, 78s, etc.), small to medium pairs (77-99)
- Steal hands: offsuit connectors, low pairs, etc., targeting the blind players' folding tendencies.
Players should adjust their CO PFR frequency based on opponents' styles. For example, against tight-passive blind players, increase the frequency of steal raises; against aggressive blind players, be more cautious.
Statistics
In poker tracking software, CO PFR is often part of a player's statistics, used to measure the player's aggressiveness in the cutoff position. A higher CO PFR indicates the player frequently raises from that position, while a lower value suggests a tendency to call or fold. Typical winning players have a CO PFR of around 20%-30%, but the exact number depends on table dynamics.
