CO河牌反偷单色(CO River Resteal Monotone)

在CO位置面对河牌下注时,利用单色牌面条件进行加注诈唬以夺取底池的策略。

Component Explanation

  • CO (Cutoff): Position to the right of the button, often involved in preflop steal attempts.
  • River: Fifth community card, final betting round.
  • Resteal: Counter-steal, usually refers to a re-raise preflop or on the flop against an opponent's steal attempt; here extended to a bluff raise on the river.
  • Monotone: All community cards of the same suit (e.g., ♠♠♠♠♠).

Strategy Principle

On the river from the CO position, when all community cards are of the same suit, a player attempts to resteal (re-raise) to represent having the nut flush in that suit, trying to force the opponent to fold. Monotone boards often make opponents worry about a made flush, thus increasing bluff success. This strategy is often used in situations where the opponent's range is weak or their fold frequency is high.

Notes

  • Must consider opponent tendencies: if the opponent is a calling station or has a strong made hand, the resteal is risky.
  • Pot odds and bet sizing: the raise size should force the opponent to fold.
  • Frequency control: overusing this will cause opponents to adjust.
  • Example: A typical scenario where CO holds A♠K♣, board is ♠9♠2♠, turn ♠4, river ♠7, opponent bets, CO raises as a bluff representing a flush.
