Meaning of "Wet"
Here, "Wet" does not describe the preflop board (there are no community cards preflop), but rather refers to hand types: starting hands that easily form wet (draw-rich) boards postflop, such as suited connectors, small pocket pairs, and structured hands. These hands have high flop hitting rates but are weak preflop; betting allows you to leverage range advantage postflop while avoiding excessive preflop investment.
