小盲位100大盲全下(SB 100bb Open Jam)

SB 100bb Open Jam

在锦标赛或现金游戏中,小盲位玩家在有效筹码100大盲时直接全下的策略。

Overview

SB 100bb Open Jam is an aggressive strategy in Texas Hold'em, commonly seen in tournaments or deep-stacked cash games. When a player has an effective stack of about 100 big blinds (bb) in the small blind position, they choose to go all-in directly (All-in) instead of making a standard raise or call. This strategy aims to exploit positional disadvantage and opponent's fold equity, especially against the big blind's defensive range.

Principles

The small blind is at a disadvantage preflop because it has to act first postflop. When the effective stack is 100bb, a standard raise (e.g., 2-3bb) may lead to the big blind calling or re-raising, resulting in complex postflop situations. Going all-in directly forces the opponent to face a large pot risk, potentially causing them to fold some medium-strength hands such as small pairs, suited connectors, etc. This strategy typically requires hands with a certain win rate, such as strong aces, big pairs, or suited high cards.

Applicable Scenarios

  • The opponent is a tight-aggressive player with a high fold rate.
  • In late tournament stages, blind levels are high, and folding can avoid losses.
  • When against a big blind player whose calling range against all-in is tight.

Pros and Cons

Advantages

  • Gain immediate value from blinds and antes (if any).
  • Avoid complex postflop decisions, especially when the hand is difficult to play.
  • Put immense pressure on the opponent, potentially causing them to make mistakes.

Disadvantages

  • If called, usually faces greater risk because the opponent's range is stronger.
  • Overuse can lead to opponent adjustments, calling with a wider range.
  • Lose the opportunity to extract thinner value through standard raises.

Typical Range Example (Not Absolute)

In a balanced strategy, the small blind's all-in hands typically include:

  • Strong pairs (TT+)
  • Strong aces (ATs+, AQo+)
  • Some suited high cards (KQs, A5s, etc.)

While medium-strength hands like small pairs (22-99) or weak aces (A2s-A9s) may be more suitable for standard raises or folds, depending on opponent tendencies.

Precautions

SB 100bb Open Jam is not suitable for all situations. Adjustments should be made based on the opponent's calling range, tournament payout structure (ICM), and one's own image. In cash games, this strategy may be less effective than in tournaments because opponents are more likely to call with strong hands.
