小盲位侵略因子(SB AF)

SB AF

Small Blind's Aggression Factor, measuring the ratio of the player's betting and raising frequency to passive actions in that position.

Overview

SB AF is not a standard poker term but a combination of two common abbreviations: SB (Small Blind) and AF (Aggression Factor). In statistics or advanced strategy discussions, players sometimes use this combination to refer to the aggression metric specifically from the small blind position.

Calculation and Interpretation

AF is usually calculated as: (Number of Raises + Number of Bets) ÷ Number of Calls. SB AF only counts the player's actions when in the small blind position. A high SB AF (e.g., >3) indicates an aggressive tendency in that position, with frequent raises or bets. A low SB AF (e.g., <1) suggests passivity, often calling or folding. Note that due to positional disadvantage and the half-blind already invested, the reasonable AF range for the small blind differs from that of the button.

Use Cases

  • Online poker software (e.g., Hold'em Manager or PokerTracker) can display AF data for each position separately, and some users abbreviate this as SB AF.
  • In table reading, if an opponent's SB AF is unusually high, it may mean they only raise with strong hands from the small blind; if it is low, they might be passive with a wide range.

Note: This abbreviation has no universal standard and may only appear in specific communities or analysis tools. It is recommended to use the full term "Small Blind Aggression Factor" where possible.
