小盲翻牌三次加注动态(SB Flop 3-Bet Dynamic)

Strategy, range, and adjustment dynamics for small blind three-betting on the flop.

Concept Overview

SB Flop 3-Bet Dynamic refers to a series of strategic considerations when the Small Blind player makes a third raise (i.e., a 3-bet) on the flop. Since the Small Blind is always out of position after the flop, their flop 3-bet behavior often has strong range polarization, requiring dynamic adjustments based on flop texture, opponent tendencies, and stack depth.

Common Application Scenarios

  • Against Big Blind's continuation bet: When the Big Blind (BB) leads out on the flop, the Small Blind's 3-bet can be used for value or as a bluff-raise.
  • Against Button's continuation bet after opening: When the Button (BTN) raises preflop and the Small Blind calls, then the Button continues betting on the flop, the Small Blind may choose to 3-bet to apply pressure.

Range Construction Principles

The Small Blind's flop 3-bet range typically falls into two categories:

  • Value 3-bet: Strong hands from top pair or better, such as top pair top kicker, sets, two pair, aiming to get immediate value.
  • Bluff 3-bet: Draws (e.g., open-ended straight draws, flush draws) or medium-strength hands with backdoor draws, leveraging fold equity to win the pot.

Balancing value and bluff ratios depends on flop texture and opponent's fold frequency. For example, on wet flops (e.g., two-tone boards), the bluff ratio can increase, while on dry flops, it leans toward value.

Dynamic Adjustment Factors

  • Flop structure: Different flops affect the ranges of the aggressor and defender differently; the Small Blind must assess how their range interacts with the flop.
  • Opponent tendencies: Increase bluffs against opponents with high fold equity, lean toward value against calling stations.
  • Stack depth: Deep stacks allow applying more pressure on later streets after a 3-bet; short stacks often make a 3-bet close to an all-in.

Post-Flop Play

After a Small Blind flop 3-bet, the plan is usually to continue attacking on the turn and river (or give up if draws fail), or to slow-play strong hands on the turn to induce bluffs. The 3-bet size is typically about 2.5 to 3.5 times the pot.
