小盲位河牌彩虹面下注-弃牌(SB River Bet-Fold Rainbow)
SB River Bet-Fold Rainbow
小盲位玩家在河牌圈、牌面为彩虹面(无同花可能)时主动下注,然后面对对手的加注选择弃牌的行动线。
Position and Situation
This term describes the action of the Small Blind (SB) player on the River. The Small Blind is one of the worst preflop positions, but on the River, there is no positional disadvantage (as the betting player acts last).
Action Line
"Bet-Fold" refers to the player first betting (Bet), then folding (Fold) after an opponent raises. This action line is typically used for value betting while avoiding being overly exploited by bluff raises. When the board is "Rainbow" (i.e., all community cards are of different suits, with no flush possibility), it is harder for opponents to hold flush draws or made flushes, making their raising range more biased towards strong made hands or bluffs.
Strategic Considerations
- Betting Purpose: Generally to extract value from weaker hands or to deny a free showdown. On a rainbow board, flush draws do not exist, so opponent raises are more likely to represent two pair or better, or very strong draws (e.g., straight draws).
- Fold Decision: If the opponent raises, it usually means their hand is stronger than one's top pair or medium pair, so folding avoids a loss. This action line is common when the Small Blind holds a medium-value hand (e.g., top pair with a weak kicker or middle pair) against aggressive opponents.
- Range Construction: The Small Blind player needs to balance their betting range to avoid being identified as only betting strong hands. Bet-Fold is a part of their range that leans towards value but is easy to fold.

Typical Example
