小盲位河牌静态再偷(SB River Resteal Static)

Small blind SB re-raises opponent's bet on the river using a static fixed range to steal the pot.

Overview

SB River Resteal Static is an advanced strategy in Texas Hold'em, typically applied when the small blind faces a button or middle-position player. The core of this strategy involves the small blind using a predefined static range—one that does not adjust based on board texture or bet size—to re-raise (resteal) on the river against an opponent's bet. Unlike dynamic range adjustments, a static range emphasizes mathematical balance and unexploitability, avoiding excessive deviation due to opponent tendencies.

Strategy Principles

  • Static Range Selection: Usually includes some medium-strength hands (e.g., top pair top kicker) and a few bluff combinations, so that the raising frequency approximates the theoretical value required by pot odds. For example, facing a bet of about 2/3 pot, the static raising frequency is roughly 33%, with a value-to-bluff ratio of about 2:1.
  • Situational Applicability: This strategy is especially useful in late tournament stages or cash games where opponents are less likely to adjust. Due to the positional disadvantage of the small blind, a static range reduces decision pressure while making it harder for opponents to exploit.
  • Common Misconceptions: Static does not mean "never adjust"; rather, it refers to maintaining a fixed pattern when lacking specific reads. If an opponent shows clear tells, deviation is still necessary.

Implementation Example

  • Assume the small blind 3-bet preflop, then checked both flop and turn. On the river, the opponent bets 2/3 pot. The small blind uses a static range to raise to about 3x the bet, where value hands include top pair or better, and bluffs use uncompleted draws as blockers.
