UTG+1翻前挤压(彩虹翻牌)(UTG+1 Preflop Squeeze Rainbow)

UTG+1 Preflop Squeeze Rainbow

In the UTG+1 position, the player makes a squeeze raise preflop, and the flop consists of three community cards of different suits rainbow board.

Position and Squeeze Timing

UTG+1 (Under the Gun +1) is the position after the gun, belonging to early position. Squeezing from this position typically occurs when someone raises and multiple players call. A squeeze is a re-raise with a wider range than a standard 3-bet, aiming to take down dead money through fold equity.

Meaning of a Rainbow Board

"Rainbow" refers to a flop where all three cards are of different suits, meaning no flush draw is possible. This affects subsequent strategy: a rainbow flop is generally safer because there are fewer draws, making it harder for opponents to hit strong draws. The squeezer can c-bet more aggressively.

Strategic Considerations

  • Range Selection: The UTG+1 position is tighter, but when squeezing, you can use some medium pairs, high cards, or suited connectors (though the range should be chosen carefully).
  • Opponent Analysis: Squeezing works better against calling stations or tight-passive players.
  • Post-flop: On rainbow flops, the c-bet frequency can be higher because the probability of draws is reduced. If the flop has flush or straight possibilities, adjustments are needed.

Example

Blinds 1/2, UTG+1 player holds A♠Q♦, opens to 6 from early position, CO calls, button calls. UTG+1 decides to squeeze, raising to 30. All players fold, UTG+1 wins the pot. If the flop comes K♠7♦2♣ (rainbow), UTG+1 can continue betting to represent a strong hand.
