WWSF from UTG

WWSF from UTG

Flop Win Rate UTG WWSF from UTG Refers to the probability that a player who entered the pot from UTG and saw the flop wins the pot.

WWSF stands for Win When Saw Flop, an important statistical indicator in poker data analysis used to measure a player's ability to win after seeing the flop. The WWSF data from the [UTG] position (under the gun, the first seat to the left of the big blind, typically the earliest to act) can reflect the player's post-flop skills from a disadvantageous position.

A higher WWSF value usually indicates that the player has good hand reading and decision-making abilities post-flop, allowing them to effectively execute offensive or defensive strategies from a poor position. This metric is often used to evaluate a player's performance in a specific position, especially their offensive and defensive techniques after the flop. It is important to note that WWSF only counts hands that see the flop, excluding cases where the player went all-in pre-flop or won directly.

When analyzing opponents, a low WWSF ([UTG]) may suggest that the player frequently loses pots after raising first, or tends to fold too often from a disadvantageous position. Combined with other statistics such as [VPIP], [PFR], [AF], and [WTSD], it can provide a more comprehensive assessment of their overall style. This data is typically calculated using poker tracking software such as Hold'em Manager or [PokerTracker].
