Bert Stevens Leads GGPoker Super MILLION$ Final Table

Bert Stevens holds the chip lead at the Super MILLION$ final table, with Damian Salas close behind. The winner takes $408,406.
The 36th edition of the GGPoker Super MILLION$ is set for its final table, with Bert Stevens leading the pack. The action kicks off with Stevens holding 4.56 million chips, just ahead of Damian Salas, who recently won the WSOP Hybrid Main Event for $2.5 million. Salas bagged 4 million chips at the close of the penultimate day.
Other notable contenders include four-time WPT Main Event winner Darren Elias (2.2 million) and Russian regular Aleksei Barkov (2 million). Spanish player Adrian Mateos enters as the short stack with just over a million chips.
While Stevens and Salas have the biggest stacks, nothing is guaranteed in no-limit hold'em. Stevens has previous success in this event, having won the Super MILLION$ title in September, and he will be aiming for his second outright win. With over 90 big blinds, the UK-based player will be tough to stop.
Darren Elias also has a win in the high roller series, having triumphed in June when the Super MILLION$ was still in its early stages. He then took down the first Super MILLION$ of 2021, adding another $448,842 to his online results.
Heading into play, the betting odds see Stevens at +2905, while Elias is available at +695. Despite the longer odds, almost double the money was wagered on Stevens prior to the start.
With a top prize of $408,406, compared to the $51,050 awarded for 9th place, the action is expected to be fast and furious. The final table will be streamed on GGPoker's YouTube channel.
