Induction Stage
Schulman was named among the Poker Hall of Fame nominees in May after meeting the age requirement. The field also included Patrik Antonius, Scott Seiver, Phil Galfond, and Mike Matusow.
Before cards were dealt in the $1,979 bounty event, WSOP Executive Director Jack Effel brought Schulman on stage, declared him the newest Hall member, and presented a one-of-a-kind trophy.
Schulman said: "I understand how tough the Hall of Fame is. I know so many extraordinary people and players never get in. That only makes me appreciate this honor more. I want to thank my parents for always believing in me—not everyone is so lucky. Thank you to my amazing wife, Jess, you inspire me and make me better. And to my smart and wonderful daughter—I love you both."
He closed with: "Shuffle up and deal!"
