Isabella De Oliveira

Isabella De Oliveira was born in Franca, São Paulo, Brazil. She began playing poker during her civil engineering studies at a university in Toledo, Paraná, where a poker club near the campus offered a welcoming environment. Encouraged by friends who worked as dealers, she entered her first tournament and won, which sparked her passion for the game.

Isabella started working as a dealer at the local club, a role she held for two and a half years. This experience gave her valuable insight into player behavior and strategy. While dealing, she continued to play online micro-stakes tournaments and joined NetTeam, a poker team she stayed with for four years. In 2018, she left her dealer job to become a full-time professional player, despite having only one and a half years left to complete her engineering degree—a decision that initially upset her mother but was later accepted as Isabella found success and stability.

Isabella began streaming poker on Twitch about a year and a half ago, initially on her own. She later joined Midas Poker Team and became a streamer for online poker. In 2024, she moved to Stormers Team (from online poker) and also joined Team Enjoy, the official team of the Enjoy Poker Tour. She noted that streaming can be demanding, reducing her playing volume, so she adjusted her schedule to three streams per week without fixed days.

One of Isabella's most significant results came in February 2024 during the Enjoy Poker Tour in Punta del Este, Uruguay. Playing in her debut event as a member of Team Enjoy, she reached the heads-up stage of the Ladies Event, finishing as runner-up. She also cites an $8,000 online tournament victory as her biggest achievement to date. Isabella regularly travels to tournaments about five times a year, competing in the Enjoy Poker Tour stages, events in Brazil, and occasional trips to Las Vegas or Europe. In 2024, she played EPT Barcelona right after the Enjoy Poker Tour event.

Isabella's playing style is characterized as aggressive and flexible, reflecting the creative, loose-aggressive tendencies common among Brazilian poker players. She emphasizes the importance of meditation and visualization before a game to calm her mind and focus. Her aim is to continually improve and move up in stakes, currently playing buy-ins averaging $25 and targeting to double that average.

Isabella met her boyfriend, Argentine professional player Richard Dubini, during her poker career. She lived with him in Buenos Aires for a time, which helped her game evolve. The couple now resides in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina. Outside of poker, she enjoys weight training, watching films and series, and spending time in nature, especially watching sunsets on the beach or by a lake.
