Leonardo Lannes Ferreira Pinto

Leonardo Lannes Ferreira Pinto began his professional journey outside of poker, working at Abbott in São Paulo, Brazil. From February 2017 to January 2021, he held roles as a Demand Planning New Product Introduction Analyst and earlier as an intern, focusing on inventory management, sales planning, and marketing support. He earned a bachelor's degree in Ciências e Humanidades and Ciências Econômicas from Universidade Federal do ABC (2016–2020).

Pinto's poker career took off in 2021 when he joined the 4bet Poker Team as a professional player, remaining there until May 2022. He then moved to the Like a Boss Poker Team from June 2022 to May 2024. In May 2024, he became a partner and professional poker player at Gorillaz Poker Pool, marking a full commitment to the game.

Pinto's first notable live tournament result came in 2024 at the WSOP Brazil Rio Main Event, a tournament with a R$4 million guaranteed prize pool. On Day 1B, he bagged 186,500 chips, finishing among the top stacks. This performance highlighted his ability to compete in large-field events.
