In his post-session interview, he commented: “Let’s just say I got back some of the run I left behind in Rosvado during my last trip, where I lost practically every one of the 80 flips I played. Today, the opposite happened. In one key hand, I found myself all-in preflop with pocket nines against pocket tens, and I hit a nine on the river. Later, in a similar spot, I went all-in preflop with ace-nine against ace-jack, hitting an ace on the flop and a nine on the turn. Once I built up a solid stack, I imposed my game and secured a strong position heading into Sunday.” This performance highlighted his resilience and ability to capitalize on favorable runs.
