Pete Shekeloff

Pete Shekeloff's first recorded tournament cashes date back to 2012, during the WSOP Circuit at Harvey's Lake Tahoe. In November 2012, he finished 9th in Event #9 (No-Limit Hold'em) for $2,648 and 35th in the Main Event (Event #11) for $3,152, demonstrating early consistency.

Shekeloff returned to tournament action in 2024 with a series of cashes in California. During Day 1b of the 2024 RGPS Thunder Valley $2,500 Main Event, Shekeloff held pocket aces and got all-in against two opponents, one with queens and the other with queen-jack. Although the opponent with queen-jack made a straight on the river, Shekeloff's set of aces won the side pot, allowing him to survive and ultimately cash the event.

While specific analysis is limited, Shekeloff's willingness to get all-in with aces preflop suggests an aggressive approach. His consistent deep runs in multi-field events indicate solid tournament fundamentals.
