Rick Salomon was born Richard Allan Salomon on January 24, 1969, in Neptune Township, New Jersey. He is Jewish.
High-Stakes Poker Career
Salomon has made a name for himself in the high-stakes poker world, particularly in the ultra-exclusive $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop events. His first major cash came in 2014 when he finished fourth in the WSOP Big One for One Drop, winning $2.8 million. He followed this with a third-place finish in the 2016 Monte-Carlo One Drop Extravaganza for €3 million, and another fourth-place in the 2018 WSOP Big One for One Drop for $2.84 million. In 2019, he played in the Triton Million but was eliminated early. His total live tournament winnings exceed $9.9 million.
Television Appearances
Salomon has appeared on numerous poker TV shows, including World Series of Poker coverage, Super High Roller Bowl, Poker After Dark, and High Stakes Poker. In Season 8 of High Stakes Poker, he played a $868,200 pot against Bryn Kenney, winning with a straight against Kenney's set.
Personal Life
Salomon has been married three times: to voice actress E.G. Daily (1995-2000), actress Shannen Doherty (2002-2003 annulled), and actress Pamela Anderson (2007-2008 annulled, then remarried and divorced in 2014-2015). He has two daughters from his first marriage. In 2003, a sex tape with Paris Hilton was leaked, leading to lawsuits. Salomon later distributed the tape as "1 Night in Paris" and settled with Hilton for $400,000 plus royalties.

Despite his polarizing public image, Rick Salomon is respected in the poker community for his success in the highest-stakes tournaments in the world. He remains an active player on the high roller circuit.
