10bb全下弃牌策略(10bb Push Fold)

10bb Push Fold

10bb-push-fold When the stack depth is about 10 big blinds, a simplified strategy where players only push or fold based on hand strength.

Overview

10bb Push Fold is a standard strategy in Texas Hold'em when holding a short stack (especially around 10 big blinds). At this stack depth, post-flop maneuverability is extremely limited, so the optimal play typically simplifies to either pushing all-in or folding preflop to maximize fold equity and pot odds advantage.

Strategy Principles

  • Push: Actively go all-in with strong hands or hands with sufficient equity, forcing opponents to fold and win the blinds and dead money, or win at showdown.
  • Fold: Discard weak hands to avoid investing chips in unfavorable positions.
  • This strategy relies on hand rankings and opponent fold rates, often using approximate GTO equilibrium ranges. For example, pushing with about 20%-30% of hands, including all pairs, high cards, and some suited connectors.

Common Range (Example)

  • Push Range: 22+, A2s+, K9s+, QTs+, JTs, ATo+, KJo+, QJo (approximately 25% of hands)
  • Fold Range: Marginal hands below the above standard.

Notes

  • Actual application should be adjusted based on opponents: if opponents fold too often, expand the push range; if opponents have a wide calling range, tighten it.
  • In tournaments, ICM pressure exists, which may require a more conservative approach.
  • Players with strong post-flop skills can incorporate some calls, but at 10bb, Push Fold remains mainstream.
