AT同花(Ace Ten Suited)

Ace Ten Suited

由一张A和一张10组成且花色相同的起手牌。

Overview

AT suited (A♠T♠, A♥T♥, etc.) is a suited high card hand with strong potential but also some risk. It combines the high card value of an Ace with the potential of a flush draw, making it a hand many players are willing to raise or call preflop.

Hand Strength Evaluation

  • High card advantage: Ace is the highest single card, giving it showdown value when the flop misses.
  • Flush potential: The suited structure provides the possibility of hitting a flush draw, especially valuable in multiway pots.
  • Straight potential: T (10) can combine with Ace to make the nut straight (A-K-Q-J-T), but the connectivity is weak, only forming high and low-end straights (e.g., A-T with KQJ or with 985, etc.), fewer middle straights.
  • Kicker problem: When hitting top pair with Ace, the kicker (T) is weak, and may be dominated if opponent holds AJ, AQ, AK.

Common Play

Notes

  • Avoid limp-calling too much against small raises in multiway pots, as AT suited is easily dominated.
  • On the turn and river when unimproved, consider opponent's range, and if they continue betting, be prepared to fold.
