按钮位深码反偷盲(BTN 200bb Resteal)

BTN 200bb Resteal

When holding approximately 200 big blinds on the button, a 3-bet resteal in response to an opponent's blind stealing from the blinds.

Concept

BTN 200bb Resteal is a restealing strategy under deep stacks. When a player on the button holds an effective stack of about 200 big blinds (bb) and faces a steal raise from the blinds (usually small blind or big blind), they choose to 3bet (re-raise) to counter.

Strategic Considerations

  • Stack Depth: 200bb qualifies as a deep stack. After the resteal, there are still plenty of chips behind, allowing significant pressure. The opponent's fold equity and post-flop ability also need consideration.
  • Position Advantage: The button position holds a positional edge post-flop. Even if called, you can control the pot after the flop.
  • Range Selection: Typically choose hands with some playability, such as medium pairs, suited connectors, or A-high hands. Avoid blindly restealing with weak hands.

Execution Points

  • Bet Sizing: Usually 3bet to 4-5 times the opponent's raise. For example, if the opponent raises to 3bb, resteal to 12-15bb.
  • Opponent Profile: Most effective against aggressive players who frequently steal; reduce frequency against tight-passive opponents.
  • Frequency Adjustment: Increase or decrease resteal frequency based on the opponent's fold equity to maintain balance.

Notes

Be cautious with deep stack resteals to avoid being slow-played by opponents holding strong hands. Post-flop, adjust strategy to be either aggressive or conservative based on the board structure.
