按钮位25大盲注反偷盲(BTN 25bb Resteal)
BTN 25bb Resteal
Strategy of restealing usually all-in from the button position against a blind stealer when the stack is approximately 25 big blinds.
Concept
BTN 25bb Resteal refers to a situation where a player is on the button with an effective stack of approximately 25 big blinds and faces a steal raise from an earlier position (typically CO or earlier). The player responds by pushing all-in or making a large re-raise to reclaim control of the pot. This strategy is common in late tournament stages, where stacks are shallow and a 3-bet leaves insufficient chips for post-flop play, making a direct all-in the standard move.
Strategic Considerations
- Range Selection: Typically uses a polarized range, including strong hands (e.g., TT+, AQ+) and some suited connectors, small pairs, and other hands with post-flop potential to balance value and bluffs.
- Opponent Tendencies: Primarily targets opponents with high steal frequencies and high fold rates; be cautious against tight players with wide calling ranges.
- Stack Size Impact: At 25bb, an all-in exerts fold pressure of about 1.2–1.5 times the pot on opponents. Below 20bb, the all-in range should tighten; above 30bb, consider smaller raises.
Example
In a tournament with 25bb effective stacks, the CO player opens to 2.5bb. The BTN holds K♠9♠ and can consider shoving all-in for 25bb to resteal, forcing the CO to fold marginal hands like ATo or KJo.
Risks and Adjustments
- If an opponent has a wide calling range (e.g., frequently calling with small pairs or suited connectors), the resteal's EV decreases; reduce bluffs accordingly.
- Be mindful of ICM pressure; near the money bubble, the all-in range should lean toward value hands.
