决赛桌CO位25大盲注(CO 25bb Final Table)

CO 25bb Final Table

During the final table phase of a poker tournament, a typical scenario of being in the CO position with a stack of about 25 big blinds.

Position and Stack Depth

CO is the abbreviation for [Cutoff] (right of the dealer), a relatively late advantageous position at the final table, allowing observation of earlier players' actions. 25bb is a moderately deep stack in the middle stage of a tournament, between short stack (<15bb) and deep stack (>40bb), usually offering sufficient preflop aggression, but postflop play requires caution when facing resistance.

Strategy Key Points

  • Preflop Range: At the final table, the CO's opening range is typically wide, including medium pairs, [suited connectors], and some high cards, about 25%-35% of starting hands. However, [ICM pressure] should be considered; if nearing a payout jump, tighten the range.
  • Raise Size: Standard raise is 2-2.5bb to apply pressure on the blinds. If the blinds have deeper stacks and defend aggressively, raise to 2.5-3bb.
  • Responding to Re-raises: When facing a possible re-raise from later position or the blinds, evaluate the opponent's range, [ICM] factors, and your hand. 25bb stacks usually cannot profitably call a large re-raise, so tend to [4bet] shove or fold, avoiding passive calls.
  • Postflop Decisions: Postflop continuation bet ([C-bet]) frequency can be high, but be careful to control the pot and avoid multi-way pots. If the flop misses, implement [C-bet] cautiously, especially when opponent stacks are similar.

[ICM] Considerations

The [ICM pressure] at the final table is significant, especially near payout jumps. 25bb stacks have moderate preflop coverage, but during the bubble, reduce speculation with marginal hands and prioritize protecting chips. When short stacks are present, you can slightly loosen range to exploit their tight-passive tendencies.

Typical Example

Assume 6 players remain at the final table, CO has 25bb, blinds are 20-30bb each, early positions fold. CO can consider raising with hands like [A9s], suited KTQJ, etc. If the big blind shoves, decide whether to call based on opponent's range.
