CO位25bb偷盲(CO 25bb Steal)
CO 25bb Steal
In Texas Hold'em, when in the cutoff CO position with an effective stack of about 25 big blinds, an aggressive play attempting to steal the blinds by raising.
Overview
CO (Cut-Off) is the position to the right of the dealer button, offering a good positional advantage. When the effective stack depth is about 25 big blinds, the player is in a medium stack phase and can execute stealing (Steal) more frequently, taking advantage of the tighter defending ranges of the blind players to directly collect the blinds or gain range advantage through raises.
Strategy Principle
- Position Advantage: The CO acts last post-flop, making it easier to control the pot and bluff.
- Stack Depth: 25bb is a medium stack; the open raise is typically 2-2.5bb, with manageable risk.
- Steal Targets: Mainly the small blind and big blind, especially if the big blind player has a narrow defending range, the steal success rate is higher.
- Range Adjustment: The CO steal range is usually wide, including many medium hands and suited connectors, depending on opponent tendencies.
Notes
- Avoid over-stealing: If the blind players frequently 3-bet, adjust the strategy by reducing steal frequency.
- ICM Impact: In late tournament stages, ICM pressure reduces the attractiveness of stealing; be cautious.
- Counter-adjustment: If the big blind player is tight-aggressive, increase steal frequency; if loose-aggressive, tighten the range.
Typical Example
Assume blinds 100/200, CO has 5000 chips. After all fold to CO, CO can raise to 400, attempting to collect the 300 blinds. If the big blind holds a weak hand, they may fold directly.
