CO位置翻前隔离加注动态(CO Preflop Isolation Raise Dynamic)
Refers to a strategy in No-Limit Hold'em where the cutoff player dynamically adjusts the size and range of their preflop isolation raise based on opponent tendencies, stack depth, and table dynamics, in order to maximize isolating weak players and seize control of the pot.
Overview
The CO (cutoff) is the last position with the initiative to raise preflop (only the button acts after), making it ideal for isolation raises—raising against weak limpers (e.g., loose-passive players) to force others out, heads-up with the target, and with positional advantage.
Dynamic Adjustment Factors
- Opponent Range: If later position players (BTN/SB/BB) frequently call or 3-bet, tighten the isolation range and increase the bet size; if the blinds are tight, widen the range to include medium-strength hands (e.g., ATo, KJs).
- Stack Depth: Deep stacks (>150BB), a larger isolation raise (e.g., 3.5-4BB) reduces opponents' implied odds; short stacks (<40BB), reduce to 2.5BB and tend towards shove or fold.
- Table Image: If your VPIP is high, strictly isolate only with strong hands; if your image is tight, you can isolate frequently with a wider range (e.g., all pairs, suited connectors).
- Pot Control: After isolating from CO, if a blind calls, be more cautious postflop as their range may have an advantage in multiway pots.
Typical Scenario Example
Assume the CO holds a medium pair (e.g., 88), the BTN is loose-passive, and the blinds are tight. The CO can isolate to 3BB, expecting BTN to call, then use position postflop to c-bet on low boards. If a blind is aggressive, consider reducing isolation frequency or increasing the size.
Notes
Overusing isolation raises makes your range transparent and easily exploitable by experienced players. Combine reads on opponents' 3-bet tendencies, fold equity, and postflop skills.
