劫位河牌彩虹面下注-跟注(HJ River Bet-Call Rainbow)

HJ River Bet-Call Rainbow

指玩家在劫位(HJ)于河牌发出彩虹面时,主动下注并随后跟注对手的加注。

Term Composition

  • HJ: Hijack, the position two seats to the right of the button, a middle-late position.
  • River: The fifth and final community card, and the betting round.
  • Bet-Call: First bet, then facing an opponent's raise, choose to call.
  • Rainbow: Rainbow board, meaning the three cards on the flop or river are all different suits, usually indicating that a flush draw is not possible.

Strategic Meaning

On a rainbow river, since a flush draw cannot complete, the board favors made hands or bluff-catching. The HJ bets on the river and then calls, indicating either a strong made hand (such as top pair or better) or choosing to bluff-catch against an opponent's bluff. This line is typically used in the following scenarios:

  • After a value bet, when raised, the player believes the opponent is over-bluffing and thus calls.
  • Or holding a medium-strength hand, believing the opponent's raising range contains a sufficiently high bluff frequency.

Considerations

  • A rainbow board reduces the possibility of flush draws, so opponent raises are more weighted toward value hands.
  • The HJ's range is relatively wide, but the bet-call action on the river must take into account board texture, opponent tendencies, and stack depth.

Typical Example

Suppose the board is A♠ K♣ 5♦ 2♠ 8♣, with three different suits (rainbow), and the HJ holds A♦ Q♣. The HJ bets, the button raises, and the HJ calls. This is an HJ River Bet-Call Rainbow.
