Importance of Stack Depth

With 10bb, players are in a "push-fold" zone for many positions, but MP retains some post-flop playability if called. A raise commits a significant portion of the stack (~22-25% of the effective stack), making the hand nearly pot-committed. Thus, the hand selection must be strong enough to call a shove from the blinds or later positions. Typical steal hands include pairs (22+), suited aces (A2s+), broadways (KJo+, QTo+), and some suited connectors (T9s+, 87s+) depending on table tightness.

Position Considerations
