小盲15bb泡沫阶段打法(SB 15bb Bubble Play)
SB 15bb Bubble Play
During the tournament bubble, special strategy adjustments when holding about 15 big blinds in the small blind position.
Overview
SB 15bb Bubble Play refers to the strategy employed by the small blind position when holding approximately 15 big blinds during the bubble phase of a tournament (i.e., when players are close to the money but not yet in the money). This scenario is extremely common in MTTs, as players are highly sensitive to ICM pressure during the bubble. Since the small blind has poor position and must commit half a big blind upfront, its decisions are particularly critical.
Core Strategy
- ICM Considerations: The non-linear growth of chip value during the bubble makes risk avoidance a higher priority than chip accumulation. 15bb is a medium stack—neither strong enough to dominate nor short enough to be desperate. The small blind must strike a precise balance between stealing, defending, and folding.
- Stealing Range: Compared to normal stages, the small blind’s stealing range should be slightly tighter because the big blind will fight back with a wider range (due to lower ICM pressure). Recommended range: about 15–20% of hands (e.g., medium pairs, high suited connectors) for raise-sizing, avoiding marginal hands that could lead to large pots.
- Facing a Raise: When the big blind or under-the-gun raises, the small blind should defend cautiously, preferring to 3-bet or call with strong hands (e.g., TT+, AJ+), and avoid committing with medium-strength hands.
- All-in and Fold: If the big blind shoves, call with top pair or better, or with a draw. If another position shoves, tend to fold unless holding AA/KK, in order to preserve bubble survival chances.
Common Adjustments
- Squeeze Play: If the big blind frequently steals, the small blind can use a tighter range to squeeze-raise, capitalizing on the opponent’s fold equity to pick up blinds.
- Slow-Playing Strong Hands: With AA/KK, consider flat-calling to induce the big blind to steal and then re-raise.
- Fold Equity Calculation: During the bubble, opponents’ fold equity is generally higher. A 15bb shove from the small blind will force most ranges to fold, but avoid situations where a call leaves you at a large disadvantage.
Notes
- The above strategies assume a typical bubble scenario without antes. Actual play should be adjusted based on opponent tendencies, table dynamics, and your own ICM survival pressure.
- If your stack is close to elimination (e.g., under 10bb), you need to be more aggressive. If you have a chip lead (>20bb), you can use your positional advantage to steal more frequently.
