Dmitry Perfilyev

Dmitry Perfilyev (also spelled Dmitrii Perfilev) was born in Russia and later became a Florida-based entrepreneur. He began playing poker in cash games, particularly Pot-Limit Omaha, and gradually transitioned into tournaments. According to an interview after his breakthrough win, he stated, "I play about four days a week. I have a business, but my life is poker."

Perfilyev’s most significant achievement came in September 2018 at the WSOP Circuit Seminole Casino Coconut Creek in Coconut Creek, Florida. He entered the $1,700 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event, which attracted 735 entries and a $1,113,525 prize pool. After a marathon final table, he defeated local pro Sheddy Siddiqui heads-up to claim the championship and $222,691. The victory also awarded him his first WSOP Circuit ring. In addition to his Circuit win, Perfilyev has several cashes at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. His results include:

His total live tournament earnings according to WSOP.com exceed $322,000.

Perfilyev has stated that despite his Main Event win in No-Limit Hold'em, he prefers Pot-Limit Omaha cash games. He described his approach as grinding cash games four days a week and occasionally playing tournaments. In his Circuit win, he demonstrated resilience, coming back from a short stack on the bubble of the final table to eventually take the chip lead. Observers have noted his ability to run well when needed, but detailed analysis of his playing style remains limited due to his relatively low profile in international high-stakes events.
