Edi Paul Neacsu first appeared on the live tournament scene in the UK through the Redtooth Poker circuit. In March 2020, he qualified for the Central England VEGAS100 Regional Final at the Old Punch House in Ware, finishing seventh with a stack of 115,000 chips.

Neacsu captured his first notable title in September 2021 by winning a PokerStars London Series event at The Hippodrome Casino. The £275 buy-in tournament featured a £50,000 guarantee, and Neacsu took home the top prize of £25,485, defeating a field that included his fellow Romanian Gabriel Ene.

In March 2025, Neacsu played in the Hendon Mob Championship (THMC) at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham. On the bubble of Day 1B, he moved all-in with A♣8♥ and was called by Cristian Enache holding 9♠9♦. The board ran out J♥5♠10♦8♣7♥, making Neacsu the unfortunate bubble boy. The event had 181 entries and a £100,000 guaranteed prize pool.
