Kristen Bicknell

Kristen Foxen (née Bicknell) was born on December 29, 1986, in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Growing up, she drew inspiration from poker legend Jennifer Harman, whose composure and success at the table motivated Foxen to pursue the game. She began playing poker during her freshman year of college and soon transitioned to online play under the aliases "krissyb24" on PokerStars and "krissy24" on Full Tilt Poker.

Foxen became a dominant force in online poker, achieving Supernova Elite status on PokerStars for three consecutive years (2011–2013)—a milestone requiring approximately 2.5 million hands per year. She primarily played $1/$2 to $2/$4 stakes, often multi-tabling up to 24 tables, and earned a reputation as the "Ultimate Grinder."

Foxen has won six World Series of Poker bracelets, making her one of the most decorated female players in WSOP history. Her first bracelet came in 2013 in the $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship ($173,922). She followed with a second bracelet in 2016 in the $1,500 Bounty No-Limit Hold'em ($290,768). During the 2020 WSOP Online series, she won her third bracelet in the $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed event ($356,412). In 2023, she became the first female player to win a fourth WSOP bracelet, taking down the $888 No-Limit Hold'em Crazy 8's online event ($92,142). Her fifth bracelet came in October 2024 in a $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Max online event ($56,703). In June 2026, Foxen captured her sixth bracelet by winning the $25,000 High-Roller No-Limit Hold'em, earning a career-best $1,773,083.

In 2024, Foxen made a deep run in the WSOP Main Event, finishing 13th for $600,000—her largest cash at the time outside of bracelet wins.

Beyond the WSOP, Foxen has excelled in high-stakes tournaments worldwide. In 2019, she won the Poker Masters series for $408,000 and earned three consecutive GPI Female Player of the Year titles (2017–2019), later adding titles in 2023 and 2025. In 2025, she finished third in the $125,000 Triton 7-Handed event in Jeju for $1,104,000. She also scored a runner-up finish in the $50,000 Triton Montenegro event in 2026 for $1,039,000 and placed fourth in the $100,000 Triton Jeju Main Event for $1,449,000. Foxen has consistently performed on the PokerGO Tour, winning the PGT Kickoff Series finale in 2024 ($165,000) and 2025 ($197,625), as well as a $15,000 PGT event in February 2025 ($348,300).

Kristen Foxen married fellow high-stakes professional Alex Foxen in 2018. The couple often competes together and has been a prominent duo in the poker world. In 2024, Foxen was inducted into the Women in Poker Hall of Fame alongside Jeanne David.

Known for her aggressive yet calculated approach, Foxen excels at applying pressure post-flop and reading opponents. Her ability to balance mathematical precision with psychological insight has made her a formidable competitor in both live and online settings. As of 2026, she leads the Women's All-Time Money List with over $13.3 million in live earnings, surpassing Vanessa Selbst, Kathy Liebert, and Liv Boeree. Foxen is widely considered the greatest female poker player of all time, a testament to her sustained excellence and groundbreaking achievements.
