Leon Vecchio

Leon Vecchio was born in Port Jefferson Station, New York, and currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. He began playing poker professionally in 2010, quickly developing a reputation for his analytical approach and ability to handle high-pressure situations. In addition to poker, Vecchio has a background in quantitative trading, having worked at Geneva Trading since 2023.

Vecchio’s breakout win came in March 2017 when he won the WPT Rolling Thunder for $284,638. He followed this with a third-place finish in the WPT Five Diamond Classic in December 2017 for $752,196. His biggest career cash came in February 2019 when he finished runner-up in the Aussie Millions Main Event, earning $915,957. He also finished fifth in the 2018 Aussie Millions ($293,373) and tenth in the 2020 edition ($84,870).
