Micah Bitton

Micah Bitton (also spelled Micha Bitton in some databases) is a professional poker player from San Francisco, California, United States. As of early 2025, his live tournament earnings total $155,798 according to The Hendon Mob.

Bitton has accumulated a number of notable results across major poker series. At the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP), he cashed in three events: 1,170th in Event #38: $1,500 Monster Stack for $3,001; 1,055th in Event #5: $1,000 Mystery Millions for $2,704; and 474th in Event #3: $500 WSOP Kickoff for $1,001. He also cashed in the 2023 WSOP Event #51: $1,000 Tag Team for $1,454.

On the WSOP Circuit, Bitton won his first ring in 2024 at Playground Poker Club in Montreal, taking down Event #15: $600 Mystery Bounty for C$11,775. He also finished 19th in Event #12: $600 Closer for C$1,650 and 33rd in Event #11: $600 8-Max for C$1,200. Earlier, he placed 58th in the 2024 WSOP Circuit Commerce Casino Tournament of Champions for $3,400 and 91st in the WPT Prime Montreal C$1,150 event for C$2,560.

At the 2024 European Poker Tour (EPT) Paris, Bitton finished 57th in the €1,100 FPS Main Event for €7,590. He also won Event 31 ($300 Quad Stack Black Chip Bounty) at the 2024 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown for $7,275.

At the 2023 PokerStars EPT Monte Carlo, Bitton famously eliminated world chess champion Magnus Carlsen from the €5,300 Main Event on Day 1b. With blinds at 125,000/250,000 (ante 250,000), Bitton raised to 2,700 from middle position holding A♥Q♠. Carlsen three-bet to 5,700 from the cutoff with A♠J♣. Bitton called, and the flop came 2♣Q♥K♣. Carlsen bet 6,000, and Bitton immediately shoved all in. After a long tank, Carlsen called with his remaining 15,000 chips. Bitton’s pair of queens held as the turn and river brought 2♥ and A♦, sending Carlsen to the rail. Bitton chipped up to 37,300 after the hand.

According to WSOP.com, Bitton has made 12 online cashes with one ring and one final table, earning $52,666 on the platform (as of mid-2024 data).

Bitton is known for an aggressive, high-pressure style, as demonstrated in the hand against Carlsen where he quickly shipped all in on the flop. He is comfortable in both live and online settings, with a preference for No-Limit Hold’em events.
