Ricardo Sandri Sehnen

Ricardo Sandri Sehnem (also spelled Sehnem) began playing poker recreationally with college friends before turning professional in 2016 after an invitation from fellow Joinville pro Alex Bez. To fund his early career, he sold his car in 2017, committed to studying the game, and gradually built his results. He now balances tournament play with coaching and streaming under the handle "rsehnem77" on platforms like Twitch and YouTube.

Sunday Million Victory

One of Sehnem's biggest accomplishments came in early 2024 when he won the PokerStars Sunday Million, the most traditional online poker tournament. Outlasting a field of 10,300 players over 11 hours, he earned $88,200 (approximately R$440,000). Sehnem described it as a "dream come true" and noted that every player dreams of that title. He invested $545 in buy-ins (four entries) for the win.

KSOP online poker High Roller One Day Champion

In 2023, Sehnem captured his first live trophy at the KSOP online poker Special, taking down the High Roller One Day (buy-in R$5,000) for R$175,000. He defeated a tough final table including Geraldo Cesar, Leonardo Oliveira, Emanuel Maluf, Léo Rizzo, Marcos Vicente, and Leandro Zavodini. Heads-up against Uruguayan Heber Erling Aragones, Sehnem made a heroic call on a board of 654JA with KJ, winning the pot and the title. He credited his passionate rail—including his students who also won titles that day—for boosting his confidence.

Sehnem has accumulated over $52,000 in online cashes across platforms like WSOP.com and online poker, with 25 recorded cashes. Key results include:

At the 2023 KSOP online poker Ultra High Roller (R$100,000 buy-in), Sehnem entered late but was eliminated on his very first hand. With pocket sixes, he flopped a set against Davi Cola's 7-3 offsuit. The turn was safe, but the river completed a straight for Cola, giving Sehnem a painful bad beat.

Sehnem describes his style as aggressive and bluffy, especially in front of a supportive crowd. In the KSOP High Roller final table, he showed multiple bluffs with hands like 7-3 offsuit, 8-3 offsuit, and 7-4 suited to keep opponents off balance. He emphasizes studying and having confidence in his reads. Off the felt, he teaches poker and encourages his students to chase their own victories.

Sehnem has faced several famous opponents. He once played a cash game with rapper Gabriel O Pensador and stock car driver Thiago Camilo. Online, he eliminated soccer star Neymar from a tournament when his KK held against Neymar's JJ, earning a €1,000 bounty. Sehnem streamed the hand live for his followers.

After his Sunday Million win, Sehnem expressed intentions to travel to Europe for an EPT event and to Las Vegas for the WSOP. He continues to coach, stream, and grind high-stakes tournaments, aiming to build on his already impressive resume.
