30个大盲注偷盲(30bb Steal)

30bb Steal

When effective chips are about 30 big blinds, using a raise to attempt to steal the blinds and dead money.

Basic Principle

30bb Steal is a common strategy in Texas Hold'em, primarily seen in tournaments or cash games. When the effective stack depth is about 30 big blinds (bb), a player in the button or late position raises (typically 2-2.5bb) to attack the blinds. At this point, the profit basis of stealing blinds relies on the fold equity of the blind players. If the blind players fold frequently, the stealer can win dead money directly; if called, the stealer can still rely on post-flop skills to compensate.

Strategy Key Points

  • Position Advantage: Usually executed from the button (BTN), Hijack (HJ), or Cutoff (CO) to leverage the advantage of acting last.
  • Hand Selection: Not limited to strong hands; can include medium-strength hands (e.g., Ax, suited connectors, small pairs) to balance the range.
  • Raise Size: Typically 2-2.5bb, avoiding too large a size that gives poor pot odds, or too small that lacks fold equity.
  • Blind Reactions: The big blind may 3-bet squeeze or defend by calling; the small blind folds frequently.

Risks and Adjustments

  • Risks: When 3-bet, you may need to fold or find yourself in a disadvantageous situation; when called, the post-flop stack-to-pot ratio (SPR) is low, making it easy to make mistakes.
  • Adjustments: If the blinds defend aggressively, reduce the frequency of steals and tighten your starting hand requirements; if the blinds fold too often, widen your stealing range.

Example (Assuming blinds 100/200, effective stack 6000)

  • Button holds A♥7♠, raises to 450; small blind folds, big blind holds K♦Q♣ and calls.
  • Post-flop, the stealer can continuation bet with middle or small pairs or draws, using position to win the pot.

Notes

In the late stages of a tournament (bubble or after the money), 30bb Steal must consider ICM to avoid being eliminated due to a single steal attempt; in cash games, focus on long-term expected value.
