大盲位30bb推弃策略(BB 30bb Push Fold)

BB 30bb Push Fold

bb-30bb-push-fold When the effective stack is approximately 30 big blinds, the big blind player's strategy against an opponent's raise is to either go all-in or fold.

Overview

BB 30bb Push Fold is a common strategy in tournaments or SNG used by the big blind player when the effective stack is around 30 big blinds (bb). At this moderate stack depth, all-in and fold become the primary options, while calling or raising are usually not in the optimal range.

Strategic Principle

When the effective stack is 30bb, the big blind player facing a raise from the small blind or an earlier position may complicate pot odds and implied odds by calling or min-raising, and often ends up in a disadvantaged post-flop position. The push-fold strategy simplifies decision-making: use strong hands to shove for value and fold equity, and fold weak hands to avoid losses.

Applicability

  • Typically used in heads-up or short-handed tables (fewer than 6 players).
  • Especially effective against opponents with high fold rates or those sensitive to ICM pressure.
  • In late tournament stages, ICM factors affect shoving ranges and require adjustments.

Example Range (Typical Scenario)

  • Shoving range: 77+, AT+, KQ+, etc., adjusted based on opponent's raising frequency.
  • Folding range: 22-66, low suited connectors, etc.
  • If opponent's raising range is very wide, the shoving range can be expanded accordingly.

Notes

  • If opponent calls frequently, tighten the shoving range and increase value hands.
  • If you are short-stacked (well below 30bb), the push-fold strategy may not apply.
  • Adjust based on opponent type, table dynamics, and ICM weight.
