CO对抗BB弃牌频率(CO vs BB Fold Frequency)

CO位置玩家加注后,大盲位玩家弃牌的概率,用于评估CO位偷盲的成功率。

Overview

CO vs BB Fold Frequency measures how often the Big Blind folds when the Cutoff opens preflop. This metric is commonly used to evaluate the effectiveness of the CO's steal strategy and the BB's defensive tendencies.

Calculation

Generally, CO vs BB Fold Frequency can be estimated as follows:

  • From historical hands, count the number of times the BB folds after the CO opens, divided by the total number of samples.
  • In online poker, HUD (Heads-Up Display) software typically displays this stat directly.

Strategic Significance

  • High Fold Frequency (e.g., above 70%): Indicates the BB is defending too little. The CO can steal frequently and even open with a wider range.
  • Low Fold Frequency (e.g., below 50%): Indicates the BB is defending aggressively. The CO should open with a stronger range or consider increasing 4-bet bluff frequency.
  • This frequency is influenced by opponent type, stack depth, blind level, and other factors.

Example Application

Assuming a full-ring table with blinds 100/200, the CO opens to 500 chips, and the BB folds. If historical data shows CO vs BB Fold Frequency is 65%, the CO should continue opening with a wide range. If it is 40%, the CO should be cautious.

Notes

  • This frequency only reflects a single action; actual decisions should incorporate the opponent's overall strategy.
  • The sample size must be large enough (at least several hundred hands) to be statistically significant.
  • Dynamic adjustment: The BB may adjust their defending range based on the CO's opening frequency.
