HJ 20bb 反偷盲(HJ 20bb Resteal)
HJ 20bb Resteal
A re-raise counter-strategy against an opponent's steal when holding approximately 20 big blinds in the hijack position.
Overview
HJ 20bb Resteal is a common anti-steal strategy in Texas Hold'em, suitable for tournaments or deep-stack cash games. HJ (Hijack) typically refers to the position two seats to the right of the button. When a player in the HJ has roughly 20 big blinds (BB) and an opponent in early or middle position (especially CO or the button) attempts a steal (i.e., raises with a wide range), the HJ player can choose to re-raise (3-bet) with moderate hand strength to reclaim the blinds and the pot, while applying pressure with their stack depth.
Strategy Principles
- Stack Depth Impact: 20bb is a medium-short stack. After shoving or 3-betting, post-flop decision space is limited if called. Therefore, resteals typically involve a direct all-in or a near-all-in 3-bet to force folds.
- Position Factor: HJ is relatively early, but still gains positional advantage when facing a steal from CO or BTN. A resteal punishes loose stealers.
- Range Selection: Typical ranges include medium pocket pairs (e.g., 77-99), suited connectors (e.g., A8s, K9s), or A-high hands (ATo, A9s, etc.). Avoid using strong hands (e.g., AA, KK) for a resteal, as opponents may fold and deny value.
Execution Points
- Opponent Tendencies: Most effective against aggressive players who steal frequently.
- ICM Considerations: Near the tournament money bubble, weigh the risk of being called against the fold equity gained.
- Balance: Use resteals moderately to prevent opponents from adjusting and countering.
Notes
This strategy must be adjusted based on actual table dynamics and is not fixed for all 20bb scenarios. The examples are for teaching purposes only; specific decisions should consider opponent ranges, pot odds, and tournament stage.
