劫持位摊牌率(HJ WSD)

HJ WSD

In Texas Hold'em, refers to the percentage of times a player in the hijack position HJ goes to showdown, commonly used in statistics and analysis.

Overview

HJ WSD (Hi-Jack Went to Showdown) is a poker statistic that measures how often a player goes to showdown from the hijack position (HJ). The hijack is the UTG+1 position (under the gun plus one), a middle-late position that typically has a wider opening range.

Calculation

HJ WSD = (Number of hands from the hijack that went to showdown) / (Total number of hands from the hijack that saw the flop) × 100%. This statistic is usually calculated automatically by poker tracking software such as Hold'em Manager or PokerTracker.

Application Value

  • Determining player style: A high HJ WSD (e.g., >45%) indicates a player tends to go to showdown from the hijack, possibly lacking bluffs or fold ability. A low HJ WSD (e.g., <25%) may represent a more aggressive or fold-prone style.
  • Adjusting strategy: Against opponents with a high HJ WSD, you can increase your betting or raising frequency, as they fold less often. Against those with a low HJ WSD, exploit their tendency to fold by stealing blinds or making continuation bets.
  • Combining with other data: Must be interpreted together with VPIP (voluntarily put money in pot), PFR (preflop raise), and AF (aggression factor). For example, a player with a high VPIP but low HJ WSD may frequently enter pots from the hijack but rarely go to showdown, often winning through postflop pressure.

Important Notes

  • A sufficient sample size is needed (at least 100 hands recommended); otherwise, the data may be skewed.
  • HJ WSD only reflects tendencies in the hijack position and may differ from other positions.
  • In low-stakes online games, players tend to go to showdown more often, so the judgment criteria may need to be adjusted accordingly.
