Strategy Principle

When a player in MP holds 30bb and faces an opponent’s all-in, the call decision is primarily based on pot odds and hand strength. Since the stack is shallow, re-raising is likely to commit the player, so calling the all-in directly is a common strategy. Typical calling ranges usually include: medium pairs (e.g., 77-99), strong A-high hands (e.g., AQ+), suited connectors (e.g., JTs), etc. The actual range should be adjusted based on opponent tendencies and table dynamics.
