小盲10bb反偷(SB 10bb Resteal)

SB 10bb Resteal

Strategy of shoving all-in to resteal against an opponent's raise when holding about 10 big blinds in the small blind.

Overview

SB 10bb Resteal is a common short-stack strategy in Texas Hold'em, applicable in tournaments or cash games. When a player in the Small Blind holds approximately 10 big blinds (Big Blind, abbreviated as bb) and faces an opponent's raise (especially a steal raise from late position or the blinds), they choose to go All-in for a resteal. The core idea is to leverage the pressure of their stack size (~10bb) and positional disadvantage (difficult to play postflop) to force folds and win the pot, or to enter a preflop all-in confrontation.

Applicable Scenarios

  • Opponent Range: Typically targets opponents with a high steal frequency, especially raises from the Button or the Small Blind (SB), as these ranges may be wide.
  • Stack Depth: Most effective around 8-12bb. Below 8bb, fold equity decreases; above 12bb, more flexible raising or calling options become viable.
  • Opponent Fold Equity: If the opponent has a high Fold to 3-bet rate, the resteal is more likely to succeed.

Strategy Key Points

  • Hand Selection: Typically uses a medium-strong range, such as any pair (22+), any Ax, suited Kx, and some connectors (e.g., T9s). Avoid using extremely weak hands (e.g., 72o) for restealing, as their equity is too low when called.
  • Dynamic Adjustment: Must adjust based on the opponent's raising range, calling tendencies, and the actions of subsequent players (e.g., whether the Big Blind might call).
  • Psychological Battle: A 10bb stack is in the "danger zone"; an all-in puts immense pressure on the opponent, as calling could cost them a significant portion of their stack.

Notes

  • Avoid overuse: Frequent restealing will lead opponents to adjust and reduce their fold equity.
  • Consider ICM (in tournament contexts): Near the money bubble or payout jumps, the expected value of an all-in needs to be re-evaluated.
  • Example: Assuming blinds of 500/1000, you hold 9600 chips (~9.6bb) in the Small Blind. The Button raises to 2200, and you go all-in for 9600. If the Button folds, you win 3200; if called, you proceed to showdown.
