枪口+1位河牌彩虹牌面反偷(UTG+1 River Resteal Rainbow)

A strategy where the player in the UTG+1 position re-steals the pot by raising on the river on a rainbow board no flush possible.

Term Breakdown

  • UTG+1: The position immediately after UTG (under the gun), which is an early position. Starting hand ranges from this position are tighter, but positional advantage can be leveraged on later streets.
  • River: The final betting round after all community cards are dealt.
  • Resteal: When an opponent attempts to steal the pot, a player with a stronger range re-raises to regain control of the pot.
  • Rainbow: A board where all cards are of different suits, making a flush draw impossible. This means value on the river is more dependent on made hands.

Strategy Scenario

Typically occurs after the preflop raiser has continued betting. The UTG+1 player, facing a river bet that may be a steal attempt, chooses to raise in order to force the opponent to fold. Common situation: The preflop raiser has a tight range, and after betting on the flop and turn, the river is a blank (no draws completed). The UTG+1 player judges that the opponent's range is primarily showdown value, and therefore raises as a bluff a certain percentage of the time.

Notes

  • A rainbow board reduces the opponent's drawing possibilities, so a raise is more likely to represent a strong hand.
  • The UTG+1 player has positional advantage post-flop, allowing observation of the opponent's actions before making a decision.
  • Restealing frequency must be balanced; overuse reduces credibility.
