Daniel Dvoress

Daniel Dvoress was born on July 12, 1988, in the Soviet Union and emigrated to Canada at the age of eight, settling in Mississauga, Ontario, and later residing in Toronto. He discovered poker in high school, playing home games before transitioning to online poker in November 2006 under the screen names "Oxota" on PokerStars and "Oxotaments" on Full Tilt Poker. After completing college, he turned professional, focusing primarily on online cash games and tournaments.

Dvoress quickly rose through the ranks of online poker, amassing over $2.6 million in online tournament winnings. His biggest early career score came in May 2014 when he won the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) for $400,000. He also served as a coach for Phil Galfond's training site RunItOnce, sharing his expertise in high-stakes play.

Super High Roller Bowl Bahamas (2019)

In November 2019, Dvoress won the $250,000 buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament at the Super High Roller Bowl Bahamas, defeating Malaysia's Wai Chan heads-up to claim $4,080,000. This victory marked his most high-profile live title at the time and established him as a force in high-roller events.

World Series of Poker Bracelets

Dvoress won his first WSOP bracelet in August 2020 during the World Series of Poker Online, taking down the $1,500 Millionaire Maker event for $1,489,289. He captured his second bracelet live at the 2023 WSOP Europe, winning the €25,000 GGMillion€ event.
