Ifrikher Ali

Ali Imsirovic was born on January 29, 1995, in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and moved to the United States at the age of three with his family following the Bosnian War. He grew up with a passion for basketball but had to abandon professional aspirations due to ankle problems. Imsirovic studied criminal justice at Washington State University but dropped out a semester before graduating to pursue poker full-time, starting with illegal online games at age 16, just before Black Friday.

Imsirovic entered live tournaments at age 18, winning $1,500 in his first event. He deposited $100 online to kickstart his career and recorded his first World Series of Poker (WSOP) cash in 2017. His early success set the stage for a meteoric rise in high-stakes poker.

In 2018, Imsirovic won two events at the Poker Masters, earning the Purple Jacket as series champion. He also finished seventh in the Super High Roller Bowl that year. In 2019, he was runner-up in the Super High Roller Bowl London, securing £900,000 ($1.1 million) for his largest live cash to date. He has won multiple high roller titles, including events at the U.S. Poker Open (2019 and 2021), PokerGO Cup ($365,500 win in 2022), and the WPT Rock 'N' Roll High Roller ($695,355). In 2021, he was named GPI Player of the Year and won the inaugural PokerGO Tour Player of the Year award.

At the WSOP, Imsirovic has 29 cashes and three final tables, including a second-place finish in the $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty event in 2019. He also won a WSOP Circuit high roller event in 2019. His total live tournament winnings exceed $18.7 million as of 2023.

Imsirovic is known for an aggressive, high-volume approach suited to high roller events. Online, he played under aliases "ali23imsirovic" on online poker, "allinali23" on WSOP.com, and his full name on online poker-GGNetwork.

In 2022, Imsirovic faced accusations of cheating, including collusion in live events and using real-time assistance (RTA) tools online. He was suspended from all PokerGO events through the 2022 season. In 2023, he admitted to multi-accounting in high-stakes online games, calling it a "bad mistake," but denied other allegations. He returned to live tournaments at the 2023 WSOP and has since continued to compete.
