中位河牌静态度挤压(MP River Squeeze Static)
MP River Squeeze Static
A rare and mostly theoretical river raise strategy, where the middle position player raises with a fixed or predefined range after facing a bet and a call on the river.
Term Composition
- MP: Middle Position, typically refers to UTG+2 or UTG+3 at a nine-handed table.
- River: The final betting round after the last community card is dealt.
- Squeeze: Originally refers to a re-raise preflop after a raise and multiple calls; here borrowed for the river, meaning a raise after someone bets and someone calls.
- Static: Indicates that the raising range is fixed and does not adjust based on opponent bet sizing, history, or other information.
Strategy Principle
This term is commonly used in poker theory analysis or GTO models to describe a simplified strategy: when the first player bets and the second player calls on the river, the MP player raises with a preset static range. This strategy does not consider opponent tendencies or bet sizes, relying solely on fixed frequencies and combinations.
In actual play, using a static squeeze strategy on the river is usually too coarse, because river decisions heavily depend on the specific board, opponent ranges, and bet sizing. Therefore, this term appears more often in teaching examples or software testing than in practical advice.
Typical Application Scenarios
- As a basic framework for beginner players to learn, avoiding information overload.
- In simplified GTO calculations, assuming opponents also use static strategies to approximate a solution.
Notes
This term is not a standard fixed phrase in poker literature; it is a custom name for a specific scenario. It should be used with clear context to avoid confusion with other squeeze strategies.
