HJ位200bb 3-Bet全下(HJ 200bb 3-Bet Jam)

HJ 200bb 3-Bet Jam

指在劫持位(HJ)持有约200个大盲注有效筹码时,面对前位开池加注,直接进行3-Bet全下的激进翻牌前打法。

Applicable Scenarios

This play is typically used in deep-stack cash games or late-stage tournaments (around 150-250bb), when the HJ player holds a strong range (such as big pairs, AK/AQ, etc.) to apply maximum pressure on later-position players with a large stack, forcing opponents to fold weaker holdings or be forced to call.

Strategy Logic

  • Range Polarization: At 200bb depth, a 3-bet jam is a highly polarized range, usually consisting only of top-tier strong hands (such as QQ+, AK) and a few bluff combos (e.g., Ax suited connectors). The goal is to balance value and bluffs while avoiding complex post-flop decisions in deep-stack situations.
  • Fold Equity Advantage: Against a later-position 4-bet or call, the HJ's jam denies opponents implied odds, especially effectively suppressing small pairs and speculative hands.
  • Risk Considerations: At 200bb depth, jamming carries significant risk; if called, the pot becomes huge and the outcome depends on starting hand strength. Therefore, it is not suitable for marginal or weak hands.

Typical Example

Assume in a tournament with blinds 100/200, effective stack 40,000 (200bb). UTG opens to 600, HJ holds AKs and decides to 3-bet jam for 40,000. This move forces later-position players to fold most of their hands, with only strong hands like KK, AA willing to call.

Notes

  • Applicable when opponents have a high fold rate; if later players have a wide calling range, the risk increases.
  • In some online or live games, a 200bb 3-bet jam may be seen as unusual and should be adjusted based on historical dynamics.
